Meghan Elford

Hi everyone!  My name is Meghan Elford and I am excited to be working at GTMA as a Social Media Specialist. I recently graduated in spring of 2021 from George Fox University with my B.A in Intercultural and Global Sociology and a minor in French. I love to cultivate creativity and spark new ideas in myself and my teammates. I worked several years as an event planner and I recently was able to launch a new non-profit social media presence, pushing me towards the world of social media marketing. I love to travel in my spare time and I even run a travel account teaching language skills and travel tips. I speak French and Russian alongside my native English and I am currently learning Romanian and Dutch. I love to research different cultures and share that with anyone who will listen. My weekends are spent as a wedding and elopement photographer where I produce and edit my own content for clients. My favorite form of story-telling is cinema and movie scores. My favorite score artist’s are John Williams, John Powell, and Hans Zimmer. My favorite director’s are Alfonso Cuaron, Taika Waititi, and Joe Wright.
